For those who feel the pain of injustice toward others, we are all Alex and Renee. I am 75 years old. When I see injustice, when I see a criminal act (even shop lifting at the store), I will step forward and say something, always have since I was a young girl. When I protested the bombing of innocents in Vietnam in the 1960's and 70's, when I worked for the United Farm Workers in 1973, when I was a Union member and Business Representative in the Machinists' Union in the 80's and 90's, I have always stood up for justice or for the disenfranchised. My husband is always warning me "don't get involved" but I do it anyway. This could have been me, I could have been knocked down, shot at, called a "f...ing b....." by masked agents of the State. I demand justice because I am the voice of Alex and Renee who have been murdered by masked shock troops, "Proud Boys" now wearing the insignia of the US government and being directed by unelected cruel white Nationalists like Stephen Miller.
If these cowards ever see the other side of prison bars, they deserve nothing less than to be forced to look at the faces of those they murdered for the rest of their pathetic useless lives. Death is too convenient of an escape for them.
"All born will taste death." (Quran 21:35) Death by I.C.E. is one way. Those I.C.E. Agents will die too someday somewhere somehow because they were born. But to where will they go when they die having inflicted death and destruction while wanting to live on Earth as long as they can? "I will fill Hell with jinn and humans all - a multitude from every community." (Quran 11:119) Hell can be forever so The Crime that would earn that miserable fate would have no qualitative or quantitative limit were it not for the fact that The Earth itself will come to an end (having begun at some point in time) like everything in it. So those I.C.E. Gangsters might have to shed more blood in the future so that Hell can be the only Punishment that fits Their Crimes. Allah Willing of course.
The amount of rage I’m feeling is indescribable. I want to not scroll but I keep myself aware. Not looking is denial, some people bury their heads in the sand and pretend it’s not happening. This could happen to anyone, stay engaged !
This is worse than anything I could have imagined. That this regime could so openly declare war on its own people, and yet some of those people refuse to see.
Verdicts are empty without enforcement power. So, the courts are impotent now.
We the people are challenged to discover the Beast’s Achilles Heel and step on it hard until It relents and retreats.
Even when It silences the internet. Shuts off the lights and water. Interrupts the food supply. Bans travel. Closes the streets. Confiscates your comfort.
Finally we will understand why the rich have concentrated on creating access-only monopolies of the things we depend upon for our very lives.
Yet, the Beast has a soft underbelly that ultimately renders It vulnerable and insubstantial.
We must discover that weakness — and concentrate our resistance there.
Not with violence. But with wisdom and creativity. Like Gandhi when he disarmed the British.
Get busy. Before the robots take ICE’s place — and the Beast loses Its last traces of humanity.
